Leg 1:Race 5.
An even field, with several chances. LAURETANA BOY has run useful recent placings, and can go close from this draw. MOON DANCER.showed her first glimpse of form last week after returning from a seasonal break and poses a serious threat. SIROCCO CAM.is better known for his deeds at Cambridge but is poised for a serious effort against this lineup. PRIVATE PEDRO has placed behind a couple of smart types while it is his first race here is worthy of considering. HALSTROM BALE has jumped a couple of grades quickly and will find this tougher

Leg 2:Race 6.
MICRO BENNY.shock Auckland Cup heat winner last Thursday and downgrades for this race. TIGGER FOOT.is ultra versatile over all distances, is often underrated and downgrades here. STAND OUT MATT.form looks bleak but has had just one run back from spell, working well, and could be the upsetter. THRILLING WOLF can run boldly if he lands on the pace. SPIKE'S SPECIAL has often disappointed but very capable at best. He was a close up 3rd Wanganui last Friday.

Leg 3:Race 7:Thoirnto Auctions Auckland Derby
PADDY BOND is unbeaten in last 3 runs here and going from strength to strength. Quickest heat winner last week. He proved a winning Pick 6 Anchor then and can do so again, looks great prospect. WINSOME BUCKS and ST WILD..(other heat winner) both back up from Auckland Cup Heat runs behind Riddle Man. Winsome Bucks out finished St Wild by a head. He had traveled up poor before Derby Heat but looks to have improved. FANCY SPIDER.CAWBOURNE WILCO both placed last week and that looks their best hope again.

Leg 4:Race 8.
Another even field with all runners unplaced last start. BANKSIDE LASS.a Christchurch visitor having first look here generally shows good box speed and holds strong Southern form. TEE KAY GIRL.a couple of recent 2nds here behind nice types good enough to win. FANCY KATE winner here last month is worthy of respect. SATSUMA.,a member of the 100 start club, moody but a threat against these. THRILLING WEB is untried this distance but useful recent races from new kennel. SUZIE THE FLUZY.has run multiple placings here but a gay deceiver.

Leg 5:Race 9.
THRILLING ALERT.began his career with 2 smart wins and done little wrong to date. Blessed with red rug he looks top winning hope. FANCY MEL.a recent import having his first race here but looks an improving type. THRILLING CHASE.race fit after consistent recent 600m runs. BILLY THUNDER.as a multiple placegetter, always some chance but winless since last August. AILEE BALE.has toured the country visiting 5 tracks recently and weakened badly 1st look here last week but could improve.

Leg 6:Race 10.
Open class sprinters to complete Jackpot .ZENSU.holds quickest winning time here (18.31),and recent win took scalp of Winsome Light .Strong chance. NATIONAL DEBT. has raced up the grades stylishly and fine grade debut 3rd Railway Heat behind Wild St Teddy. .SALLY'S BABE.resumed after 2 month layoff with bold 2nd Wanganui last Fri she can be dangerous from box 1.MANADOU.unsighted since November and first race here. Trainer does well with freshup runners. ENSIGN.has placed 2/4 since joining this grade and can be a danger.
