Greyhound of the Month
The winner of the Greyhound of the Month at the Manukau Stadium will be
determined on the following points system:
Standard Race
Win 4 Points Second 2 Points Third 1 Point
Group 1 Race and the New Zealand Shootout
Win 9 Points Second 4 Points Third 2 Points
Group 2 or National Listed Race
Win 6 Points Second 3 Points Third 2 Points
Bonus Points
In addition to the race points a greyhound will be credited with following
bonus points
Class Record 4 Points
Track Record 6 Points
Greyhound of the Year
The winner of this award will be selected from the winners of the Greyhound
of the Month Awards by a selection panel comprising Peter Earley (Race
Caller), Peter Fenemore (Journalist New Zealand Greyhound Racing Magazine)
and Jason Tan (Trackside Television)
Trainers UDR Award
The winner of the Trainers UDR Award will determined applying the universal
UDR rating system with trainers being required to have a minimum of
120 starters throughout the 2006/2007 season
